“Your wedding day is not just something to be recorded, it is a chapter in a greater story”
There are a lot of videographers out there who piece together a rough compilation of slow-motion footage in no particular order all over an Ed Sheeran song that they don't own a licesnse to. First, that is illegal, second, I think its in poor taste.
The reason I love wedding videography and prefer it over photography is that I have an opportunity to tell a story.
Consultation calls, Facetimes, and in person meetings (when possible) allow me the chance to get to know each couple and their unique story. I want to know how you first met, where your favorite date spot is, and how your taste in music has changed as you've known each other. All of this is clearly important to you, so it should be important to your wedding videographer! How can someone possibly tell your story if they don't know you?

Let's look at how this plays out...
It all starts with a consultation call. We talk for roughly 30 minutes and I ask questions like: how long have you known each other? When did you first meet? What do you like most about each other? What are you most looking forward to about your wedding day?
Then I'll tell you a little about myself, we'll talk through pricing, and I'll share what the process looks like if you choose to go forward with Clayton Dean W. Creative.
In the months leading up to the wedding you will get the occasional email or text from me with follow up questions, a link to a customized playlist to pick from based on your music taste, and a questionnaire that will help me get a feel for what the wedding day will be like.
On the day of the wedding I'll introduce myself in person if we haven't met before and I'll spend a few minutes getting to know your wedding party and family. This is where the real fun begins!
Throughout the day I'm capturing all the little details; the groomsmen playing games, kids exploring the venue, family arriving and greeting each other. It is all these details, when combined with the big moments, that make your wedding day special.
A few months later, like magic, your wedding film arrives!
